Hi everyone, I am using ispconfig on a server for some time now. As I have bought a new server I need to move all the websites and the mail. One of my clients uses the webclient UebiMiau and also needs to be moved. On the old server I can see his mail's in the ../user/username/maildir folder. I have created a website on the new server just like I did on the old server for this client. But there is no ~maildir folder. So I am unable to copy his data. Is there some place I should look else? The old server is upgraded to the latest version of ispconfig. And the new server also has of course the latest version. I also need to move his address book. Where can I find this and where should I copy this to? Any help would verry much be apreaciated. Thanks in advance. Rgds Edo
Did you move your installation as shown here? http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2717&highlight=moving+ispconfig Did you copy all web sites and mail folders from the old to the new server?
moving mail Thanks for youre reply. Well I did almost moved like in this thread: http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2717&highlight=moving+ispconfig As I do not have more than 10 websites running I used the backup method of ispconfig to get the data from the old server. Setup the website and all mail users by hand on the new server and copy the /web data into the /web directory. So I did not copy the whole /home directory!! Only one user is using webmail and has a ~maildir directory, like the others, on the old server. On the new server NOT ALL websites have a ~maildir directory. And the users directory who is using webmail does not have a ~maildir dirctory where I can copy the data into. So this is why I got confused. Espacialy because the user has mail in his inbox on the new server, which is not in the ~maildir directory as there is none. Reading through the other post I gues I should check out the /var/spool/mail dir. But here can I find his guestbook? Rgds Edo
