    Hi,
i was changing some values in server config of a mail server. didn't saw i erroneously changed the menu dovecot/courier from dovecot to courier.
today, i recieved the email with the
WARNING - Moved invalid maildir to corrupted Maildirs folder:
and all mails has been obviously moved in /var/vmail/corrupted/userid/folder
i changed again the settings from courier back to dovecot in server config settings.
    question:
is it safe to rsync back and delete /var/vmail/corrupted/userid/folder or is there a cron of ispconfig that will try to move back to vmail all emails after my second change in server config settings?
    thanks

Just copy the mail folder contents back to its original location should be enough. ISPConfig checks the folder structure only when you alter something in the mailbox settings, it will not restore any data from corrupted folders on its own.
