Multi Server - NS - Firewall ports

    Hi all,

    I have a working multi server ispconfig cluster that is working perfectly, but I'm hardening my security a bit and I want to check if incoming 3306 (mysql) is needed on a nameserver?

    For the moment I only have UDP 53 and SSH as open ports.

    Incoming mysql is only required on the master as the slaves connect to the master.

    Thanks, so all the sync (dns, settings) features are just the slaves who read out the db on the master?

    Yes, the master is not contacting the slaves.
