Hello. I have been playig around with ISPConfig3, but just on a single server. I have read a couple of posts with regards to multi-server setup and had a couple of questions. 1.) Does anyone who is running a multi-server setup use any sort of shared backend storage so the various mail/web/DB servers are really just front-end servers? 2) It seems that while it is possible to have, say, multiple web servers (or mail servers, for that matter), they do not work in a load-balancing function. I.e., if I have three web servers (web01, web02, and web03) and setup a website I can only assign it to a specific server (e.g., web02) and incoming requests go only to that server. It does not seem possible to assign it to say, a "web group" consisting of those three servers, then incoming requests are load-balanced between those servers in the group? is my understanding correct? I have a few more, but will start with those. Thanks! -SilkBC
that's a neat idea to have setup automatically; funny enough they have a diy article about that. http://www.howtoforge.com/high_availability_loadbalanced_apache_cluster
