Having a multiserver primary and secondary servers running on static IP addresses with nginx. Is there an easy way with ispconfig to set a default site when the static IP address is entered in the url ? Was going to tweak some settings on the secondary server to test its still working correctly. In this scenario it would be nice to check how various sites are working on the secondary server. Any ideas of possible solutions ?
IP-address in url is a problem, since ISPConfig sets websites as name based virtual hosts. I guess it should be possible by using IP mapping feature. See System > Server IPv4 mapping. There you can define which IP on the master shall be replaces with which IP on the mirror.
