I have been trying to configure the multiservers with a second mail slave server. The 2nd server, successfully shows up on my ISPconfig panel, but the doveadm keeps on giving errors that it cannot find the mail users on the mx2 mailserver. "ms1 dovecot: doveadm([email protected]): Error: Unknown user in remote" and on ms2: "ms2 dovecot: doveadm(10.155.253.88,[email protected]): Error: User doesn't exist" i.e the mail accounts are not transfered to ms2? AM i missing some setup in the manuals, i have reinstalled the second server already and gone over the manuals multiple times, and searched this forum?
Did you add the second server after creating mail accounts on the first server? Because users get transferred when you create the user. If you add another node later, you must use Tools > resync to snyc the new node with the old one.
