Hello, is it possible to assign database server to specific web server in ISPConfig 3.1? We have multiple webservers with database server on each of them and we want to keep databases on webservers where the web resides. Customer should not have possibility to choose database server. Thank you
That's not possible at the moment. the only thing that you can do is that you allow access to the DB server only where the customer shall place its databases. But as soon as the customer has websites on more than one server, he would be able to select a wrong server again as you will have to enable both db servers for the two web servers
Hi Till, thank you for your response. Do you plan add this feature? We have 6 webservers with database servers. We had to enable all these servers for creating web and databases. It is confusing for our clients and I am waiting when I will have to recreated database on different server
