Hi, we have a Multi-Server-Setup with ISPConfig and we noticed that our servers don't send mail to our Main Mail server. The ISPConfig-Manual there is an example for the configuration of a Postfix Sattelite System where you put the FQDN of your Mailserver into the SmartRelayHost-Field. However the Mailserver does not accept mail from this sattelite system. Did I miss a step in the Mailserver-Setup? Thanks for your help.
Open the manual in a pdf reader, open the search function and enter 'mynetworks'. It will direct you to the place where the instructions can be found.
thanks yes. i missed it. It seems like only the webserver is allowed to send mail though. What about the DNS-Server?
DNS servers shall not send any emails. I explained that already in your other thread and that's why there shall be NO postfix on DNS servers as it is installed on the web server.
