Hi I followed this tutorial : "http://www.howtoforge.com/server-monitoring-with-munin-and-monit-on-debian-wheezy" But when i try to access munin i end up whit a error 403 forbidden and i have try to get it fix but i still have the problem. Have any one a suggestion what can be wrong?
It say [Wed Jan 28 16:39:04.428235 2015] [authz_core:error] [pid 6939] [client 85.224.252.253:44980] AH01630: client denied by server configuration: /var/cache/munin/www/
This filder is not accessible in a default apache config as it is not in /var/www. If you want to access it from ispconfig and avoid cross domain problems in your browser, then add a symlink in /usr/local/ispconfig/interface/web/munin that points to that folder and then access munin with yourserver:8080/munin/
And the folder /var/cache/munin/www/ exists, contains the html files generated by munin and it is accessible by the user that runs apache (www-data) ?
it look like this. Code: -rw-rw-r-- 1 munin munin 7971 Jan 28 17:00 mysql-day.html -rw-rw-r-- 1 munin munin 7983 Jan 28 17:00 mysql-month.html -rw-rw-r-- 1 munin munin 7977 Jan 28 17:00 mysql-week.html -rw-rw-r-- 1 munin munin 7977 Jan 28 17:00 mysql-year.html -rw-rw-r-- 1 munin munin 7635 Jan 28 17:00 network-day.html -rw-rw-r-- 1 munin munin 7647 Jan 28 17:00 network-month.html -rw-rw-r-- 1 munin munin 7641 Jan 28 17:00 network-week.html -rw-rw-r-- 1 munin munin 7641 Jan 28 17:00 network-year.html -rw-rw-r-- 1 munin munin 4909 Jan 28 17:00 postfix-day.html -rw-rw-r-- 1 munin munin 4913 Jan 28 17:00 postfix-month.html -rw-rw-r-- 1 munin munin 4911 Jan 28 17:00 postfix-week.html -rw-rw-r-- 1 munin munin 4911 Jan 28 17:00 postfix-year.html -rw-rw-r-- 1 munin munin 4859 Jan 28 17:00 problems.html -rw-rw-r-- 1 munin munin 6894 Jan 28 17:00 processes-day.html -rw-rw-r-- 1 munin munin 6904 Jan 28 17:00 processes-month.html -rw-rw-r-- 1 munin munin 6899 Jan 28 17:00 processes-week.html -rw-rw-r-- 1 munin munin 6899 Jan 28 17:00 processes-year.html
Code: -rw-rw-r-- 1 munin munin 4590 Jan 28 17:00 index.html drwxr-xr-x 5 munin munin 4096 Jan 28 16:59 www I dont know about this that you mention before: and it is accessible by the user that runs apache (www-data)
I had that same concern on ubuntu 18.04, apache 2.4 instead of modifying apache24.conf, I modified apache.conf ! now solved !
