Hi there Im trying now for 2 days to get this working. I want to set my MX records to mandrill. 10 30569984.in1.mandrillapp.com 20 30569984.in2.mandrillapp.com What I did was create 2 new MX records with both the names(Host) with the above settings. MX mail 30569984.in2.mandrillapp.com. 20 86400 MX mail 30569984.in1.mandrillapp.com. 10 86400 Not working
What you created is a record for mail.yourdomain.com and not yourdomain.com. So the recos abvove would only be used for email addresses in the format [email protected] but I gess what you wanted to have is a MX for addresses like [email protected]. So the solution is: a) Either empty the host field so that it is empty nstadcof "mail". b) or enter "yourdomain.com." (with dot at the end) instead of "mail" in the host field.
