hi, my problem is that I had installed DNS server in my server, there isn't any problem within my LAN. But it goes not get resolved from outside my LAN...i mean when i try to access my local httpd server in my server, i cannot. Please help!
Are you sure that your nameserver is registered /or your necesarry ports on router/gateway are opened.
step one make sure that port 80 and 53 are mapped to the host box IP address than goto www.canyouseeme.org and do an test on the two ports than if its all good ask a friend to try to access your site but you need an DNS name and they are pointing to your IP address to look up your DNS records
