Please can someone help, Lately I am finding that the mydns servers fails and if I look in the log file all I find is the following 0 UDP Address unknown 000 000 NOERROR - 0 0 0 0 LOG N QUERY "" if I restart it it works again.
Better switch to bind, we dont use mydns anymore in the perfect server guides as its too unreliable and not under active development anymore. The steps to switch to bind are: 1) uninstall mydns 2) install bind 3) Run a dns resync with the resync tool (see tools > resync in ispconfig).
Hey Till, I have tried this but it does not seem to work, I can't un-install mydns as I installed it from source, but I did remove the service and stop it, installed bind and did a re-sync, unfortunately this did not seem to work, bind does not have any of the zones
