Mysql and Ldap configuration with ejabberd and iredmail on ubuntu 0.9

I need help configuring ejabberd, iredmail and either Ldap or mysql as a backend. I need to be able to create a server that can both serve for internal mailing and also work as a chat server with ejabberd.

Can anyone help with tips on how to do this with ubuntu 0.9 or fedora 10 or fedora 13.
