hi there, I have setup a multi server environment as follows:
    mysql-us
    mysql-sp
    web-us
    web-sp
    mail
    ispconfig
    ns1
    ns2
Backups for the web directories and mail are working beautifully, but not the MySQL databases as they are on a separate dedicated machines (mysql-us and mysql-sp_. How can I ensure databases for websites are backed up?

    Appreciate any help ;)

I install automysqlbackup on hosts running databases. That makes a dump of all databases on that host. Those dump files can then be backed up the usual way to some other host.

Yes I found automysqlbackup today and if I couldn't solve this issue using ISPConfig I would just move to it, may just use automysqlbackup anyway, thanks Taleman ;)
