   I've read in the forums that you cannot change the mysql database name and the user name. But is it possible to change it afterwards by hand. If that is possible how do you do that. And does it interfere with ispconfig

   If you change the database name afterwards, it will break the connection to the interface, so do not do that.
   
   If you need custom database names, craete the databases manually with e.g. phpmyadmin.
