Mysql how-to for FC7

Hey guys/gals,

I was wondering if anyone had written a HOW-TO install for mysql 5 on FC7. I am looking for a step by step guide to help me with my install. I am not new to databases but i am new to mysql.

Thanks but do you have any thing more descriptive. I would like to find a guide that can walk me through the whole step from install to creating the appropriate users.

once you have the mysql installed
install like phpmyadmin

setup another ROOT / admin user

with full access

than for users
they only need the first box of access rights for normal day in / day out use
unless you installing script than maybe some create access rights ... but thats should be it

its try and see what errors / problems you have

once you know what access you need some script XX1
you can lock it down .. well
so it does not have any more access rights than it needs

To create a table in a database: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql/en/CREATE_TABLE.html

To create users: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/en/GRANT.html
