Debian 64 8.6 ISPConfig version is 3.1.1p1 Hello, I noticed after a fresh installation that in the monitor I can see the status of MySQL-Server is offline. Ofcourse that's not the issue as I wouldn't be able to log in the Panel in the first place. During installation I used MySQL and not MariaDB, is there something I can do to check this? Thank you
I tried with #bind-address=127.0.0.1 and without comment bind=127.0.0.1 on my.cnf Doesn't change anything, still looks like offline. Or should I clearly state "localhost" in there, or is there somewhere else I need to state that?
Ofc, thank you. Code: root@XXXXXXX:~# netstat -tap | grep mysql tcp 0 0 *:mysql *:* LISTEN 27858/mysqld tcp 0 0 localhost:59106 localhost:mysql ESTABLISHED 8454/smtpd tcp 0 0 localhost:59105 localhost:mysql ESTABLISHED 8454/smtpd tcp 0 0 localhost:mysql localhost:59103 ESTABLISHED 27858/mysqld tcp 0 0 localhost:59099 localhost:mysql ESTABLISHED 8453/proxymap tcp 0 0 localhost:mysql localhost:59048 ESTABLISHED 27858/mysqld tcp 0 0 localhost:59122 localhost:mysql ESTABLISHED 8452/smtpd tcp 0 0 localhost:59050 localhost:mysql ESTABLISHED 8455/trivial-rewrit tcp 0 0 localhost:59123 localhost:mysql ESTABLISHED 8452/smtpd tcp 0 0 localhost:59107 localhost:mysql ESTABLISHED 8454/smtpd tcp 0 0 localhost:59124 localhost:mysql ESTABLISHED 8452/smtpd tcp 0 0 localhost:mysql localhost:59124 ESTABLISHED 27858/mysqld tcp 0 0 localhost:mysql localhost:59105 ESTABLISHED 27858/mysqld tcp 0 0 localhost:mysql localhost:59107 ESTABLISHED 27858/mysqld tcp 0 0 localhost:mysql localhost:59050 ESTABLISHED 27858/mysqld tcp 0 0 localhost:58921 localhost:mysql ESTABLISHED 6711/amavisd-new (c tcp 0 0 localhost:mysql localhost:59099 ESTABLISHED 27858/mysqld tcp 0 0 localhost:mysql localhost:58950 ESTABLISHED 27858/mysqld tcp 0 0 localhost:59049 localhost:mysql ESTABLISHED 8453/proxymap tcp 0 0 localhost:mysql localhost:59123 ESTABLISHED 27858/mysqld tcp 0 0 localhost:59104 localhost:mysql ESTABLISHED 8454/smtpd tcp 0 0 localhost:mysql localhost:59121 ESTABLISHED 27858/mysqld tcp 0 0 localhost:59048 localhost:mysql ESTABLISHED 8453/proxymap tcp 0 0 localhost:59100 localhost:mysql ESTABLISHED 8453/proxymap tcp 0 0 localhost:58950 localhost:mysql ESTABLISHED 6743/amavisd-new (c tcp 0 0 localhost:mysql localhost:58921 ESTABLISHED 27858/mysqld tcp 0 0 localhost:mysql localhost:59106 ESTABLISHED 27858/mysqld tcp 0 0 localhost:59121 localhost:mysql ESTABLISHED 8452/smtpd tcp 0 0 localhost:mysql localhost:59122 ESTABLISHED 27858/mysqld tcp 0 0 localhost:mysql localhost:59104 ESTABLISHED 27858/mysqld tcp 0 0 localhost:mysql localhost:59049 ESTABLISHED 27858/mysqld tcp 0 0 localhost:59103 localhost:mysql ESTABLISHED 8453/proxymap tcp 0 0 localhost:mysql localhost:59100 ESTABLISHED 27858/mysqld
The output looks fine so far. I just looked at the ispconfig code, it tries to reach a mysql server on localhost port 3306 tcp.
Had the same issue. In the end it had to do with the fact that I had not linked the the localhost to 127.0.0.1 in the hosts file. I could not connect to the port with the name localhost, but I could with the IP 127.0.0.1. This is how I tested it: Did not work: nc -zv localhost 3306 Did the job just fine: nc -zv 127.0.0.1 3306
