I'm embarrassed to ask, but I cannot find an answer anywhere. How do you DISABLE master-master clustering. I have a mysql5 master-master pair on Debian Etch. I've copied (it's in vmware) the primary mysql server, changed the hostname/IP address to make an updated db-dev server. but I cannot connect. I edited my.cnf to remove the info I put in to make the clusters work, and rebooted the server. I've logged into the server and done a show slave status and I can see that it's still seeing info regarding the slave info. So in my mind...it's still try to be a master and a slave. I think it still trying to be a slave and the fact that with the IP address changed I cannot access it are related, but I'm not sure how to find out how to resolve it. Can someone help get me pointed in the right direction to get this resolved and get my new "dev" box working? Thanks! Tfunky
