Mysql update database, but not client

Hello,
after i have sucessfully upgraded PHP on Debian Lenny (instructions), i have also updated Mysql.

Now when checking, i get this result:

MySQL Database Version: [B]5.1.58-1[/B]~dotdeb.0
MySQL Client Version: [B]5.0.51a[/B]

How can i upgrade client version?
