MySQL user

    Ok, I am paranoid, but ...

    Can I install ISPConfig using a MySQL user that have less privileges than root?

    If possible there are info related?

    No, because then ISPConfig will not be able to manage the mysql databases, create new mysql users etc.

    Thanks for clarification.

    So, If I want/need to change mysql's root password I need to simply edit the /home/adminispconfig/ispconfig/lib/config.inc.php file or need other settings?

    Having DB not managed by ispconfig can create problem?

    Yes.

    You can create other databases manually or use existing ones, but make sure that your databases use a different namig scheme than ISPConfig. ISPConfig uses databases such as web1_db1 (first database for web site 1).
