Wondering what this error means and how to solve it

The mbstring PHP extension was not found and you seem to be using a multibyte charset. Without the mbstring extension phpMyAdmin is unable to split strings correctly and it may result in unexpected results.

How do I log phpPgAdmin 3.5.4 Login. I tried the root pass word and it does not work.

    Thanks.

    Have a look here: http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=540
There's also a new phpMyAdmin package available: http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=925

Where did you install phpPgAdmin? under your main Apache, or under ISPConfig's Apache? If you did the latter, did you compile the ISPConfig PHP5 with PostgreSQL support?
