    Hello everyone,

I am running Debian Wheezy with Apache on ISPConfig3 inside my local area network, the outside IP is NAT'd directly to the internal static IP of the server.

I followed the tutorials for running my own nameservers to the letter. I established the DNS zone, added the glue records with my host, and set up the NS1 and NS2 A records with my external static IP.

After following everything my server "cannot be found".

If I move my server outside the LAN will the nameservers work then?

    Thank you
    John
