    Hello,

I am more and more interested in ISPConfig 3.

I have some questions which may be simple for you, but important for me :

1- Is ISPConfig full opensource ?
2- Does it support plugins ?
    3- Does it support IPV6 ?
4- Does it handle Anonymous FTP ?
    5- Does ISPConfig 3 provide DomainKeys ?
6- What about Third Party Module Installation Methods (Subscription Service ? Free Service ? Upgrades ? )
7- What about available modules (shopping cart ? bulletin board ? gallery ? chat ? guest book ? )
8- Besides of PHP, are some features written in Perl ? or Python ?

In other words, at the following url, there is a comparison of web hosting control panels including ISPConfig :

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_web_hosting_control_panels

And I think that the information concerning ISPConfig need to be corrected and completed.

    Thank you in advance

    1) Yes
    2) Yes
    3) Not yet
    4) Ispconfig 2: yes. ISPConfig 3: not yet
    5) Provide: no but you can use domainkeys with ispconfig. See FAQ
    6) What do you mean with that?
    7) ISPConfig is a hosting control panee. It is not a CMS System. You can of course install any kind of cms system in a website that you created with ispconfig. If you want to integrate ispconfig into your website e.g. to process orders, use the remoting API.
    8) No. just PHP and some shell scripts.

You are right, the information there is completely wrong. No Idea who has written that as these infoes are all on ispconfig.org.

ISPConfig contains also a slightly modified copy of vlogger which is written in perl. I forgot that in my list above as we never change this code. Not sure if thats relevant for the comparison list or not.
