If your web server has a static IP in your LAN, you must forward port 80 from your router to your web server. If your Internet connection uses a dynamic IP, you can get a hostname from dyndns.org.
i need to set it to a newer port then port 80 is block by the internet i know theres a way around it becuse i done it be for with a windows server 2003 and its no big del to update the ip for dns all i like to get done is get ever thing on the server working right on centos 5.4 with out a control panel other then webmin
You can use any other port (e.g. 8080) and then forward it to port 80 of your server. Users must then use port 8080 in the URL (e.g. http://www.example.com:8080).
