The Perfect Server - Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon (Ubuntu 7.10) W/ISPConfig Cancelled post for renamed submission
The virtual Postfix setup is incompatible with ISPConfig 2, so you have most likely messed up Postfix...
Started Over New Tutuorial HI Falko You were definately right, I used the incorrect Tutorial. Dumb ME I ran a more lengthy search of the HTF and located the Tutorial: Code: Virtual Users And Domains With Postfix, Courier And MySQL (Ubuntu 7.10) This tutorial fealt much more correct as I progressed through it, AHHH! Anyhow, I beleive all came out pretty good?? My only situation right now I bleleive is the TLS certificate. When I try to Send/Receive Email with a properly configured Thunderbird Email Client I cannot authenticate. The strange thing is the whether I am sending or recving when I view the new cert it shows another one of my servers expired certs even though I have deleted all certs from TBird and restarted TBird?? I have tried regenerating the SSL cert for TLS but still get the same results. Could you make a suggestion as to my errors and what to do to fix them? THank you Falko Regards
Hi Falko I have some more info on the Email Send/Receive. From another account I sent an Email into the new Email server and the Mail bounced back at me for the following reason. Code: "]: host mail.my-domain.net[65.xxx.xxx.x] said: 550 5.1.1 "]: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in virtual mailbox table (in reply to RCPT TO command) What does this indicate? Do I need to define all Email addresses within PHPMyAdmin for the Email db? Thanks for your help with this Falko Regards
Hmm, I have already defined the two Email addresses I am testing the server with be using MyPHPAdmin?? I will double check spelling, .tld, etc,. though. Thank you Falko Regards
