guys, last night i finally got my *starter* DNS config working on my Debian-6.0 release. i have run my site, "thought.org" for going on 26 years. until now, my server has been FreeBSD. THe thing is/{has-been} that the berkeley distros are too hard to keep current. ...So i'm switching to debian. now that i've got the beginnings of DNS going, it is time to think about email and my several virtual domains. mail first. can anyone on this forum clue me in? i am/was a good kernel hacker, but the system admin stuff is at the limits of my abilities; i need all the help i can get!!
why not just install ISPConfig 3? Following Falko's guide you should end up just fine. http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect-server-debian-squeeze-with-bind-and-courier-ispconfig-3
