hello there, i am searching for some info relating to ISPConfig, my question is that when installing ISPConfig, where is all the user and reseller data stored? aka, the user accounts, and reseller accounts, pretty much all the all the data for accounts excluding the administrators account. if this is posted somewhere else on the site and i missed it please put up a link to that location. thanks

Some of the user accounts are stored in a mysql database and the passwords are stored in the linux password file (think its stored in /etc/)

    Hope this helps

ok because i have 2 hard drives here and well i want to put all the system data on 1 drive and all the user account data on the second drive, the password file doesnt take up much space so im not worried about it too much, i plan to change the user home directory from "/var/www" to "/srv" and run that folder on its own partition approx 70GB, the "/var" directory i plan to run on its own partition on the same hdd as "/srv" but the partition size will only be about 5GB, that covers the large 80GB hdd, actual space is only about 75GB, everything else will be stored on the 8.5GB drive, actual space being about 7.94GB, it will be tight but i think i can do it, will have to try some things first.

You can move the complete server root tree from ISPConfig to another directory / drive without problems, as long as you preserve all file permissions and change the directory setting in ISPConfig under management > server > settings too.
