Hello everybody, I have a big problem with one of my servers running Debian 5 and ISPConfig 2. After starting up the server, it seems to be running fine for about 1 or 2 hours, then it starts throwing these error messages and sooner or later, it just dies and it not reachable anymore! [23124.457085] Neighbour table overflow. [23154.792696] Neighbour table overflow. [23154.792696] Neighbour table overflow. [23154.792696] Neighbour table overflow. [23154.792696] Neighbour table overflow. [23154.793439] Neighbour table overflow. [23154.793879] Neighbour table overflow. Does anybody know what this error means and how to fix it? I'd really appreciate your help. Thanks, Eddie
I tried finding this error in a log file, but I can't. It just appears when I am logged in through a remote console to the system and the messages pop up with a number in front that keeps growing untli the server quits responding and is not reachable anymore. I think this happens when it's overloaded and there is no more RAM available.
Could be the ARP Kernel cache, afaik it outputs these messages when its to small. You could try this: Link guess you understand german due to you location. Regards, Mike.
