    Hello,

I'm interested in porting ISPConfig to NetBSD, would this require a lot of changes? I do have plenty of experience with shell scripting and PHP so I could even be the maintainer if needed.

By the way, ISPConfig is awesome. I've only found one other open source control panel that's half-way decent but it hasn't been updated in years. I had to hack some of the code on that one too. :D

    NetBSD support woul be great.

ISPConfig had support for FreeBSD 1.x some time ago, so I think this code which is still part of ISPConfig might be a good starting point. The first step would be to examine the installer files and add a detection for NetBSD operating system so the installer recognizes it and sets the correct variables.

If you want to get write access to the SVN, please send a mail to dev [at] ispconfig [dot] org

I'll have to look at the installer tomorrow since my test box is at work. I'll let you know if I need access.

    Thanks.
