I am getting ready to start a fresh installation of a dedicated server with multiple virtual servers on that server (1 NS, 1 Web/Mail, 1 Data). For all of you experts out there, my plan is to have CentOS on my hardware node, and OpenVZ for my virtual containers with Debian installed on each virtual node.

Which version of CentOS do you recommend 6.6 or 7.0?

Also, howtoforge.com only has how-tos up to CentOS 6.4. Would that work for 6.6, or no?

I'm also open to other recommendations, so if you're experienced and have valuable feedback alternative to my plans, I'm listening.

    Thanks,
    Darin

We have not tested CentOS 6.6, but CentOS 6.4/6.5 should work almost equivalent to that.
