Hi everybody. I did a new install on a debian 4 machine, but am a little confused on the dns settings. I am using dnsexit for my dynamic dns, so in a new install do I need to have the dns server enabled in server services? And if I need it running, do I use the 2 external dns server names in the dns server settings area or do I still use my own domain there? Thanks in advance for the help. Mike Murphy
Thanks for quick reply Thanks for the quick reply. So just to clarify, I can turn off the dns service and I don't need to worry about changing the dns server names in the settings. Later, once I figure everything out, I would be able to turn these back on and I would have my own nameserver? Mike Murphy
