The /etc/bash/ is a linux command configuration to config files for bash. My question is what is the purpose of this command? Why do you need to use this command?

The linux hosts that I have do not have /etc/bash file or directory.
Most likely it is not a command, if that file even exists on your computer.

Bash is used to write scripts so you can automate your processes.
