Before I realized that I had beryl installed on my Ubuntu already, I followed some instructions I found... http://www.howtoforge.com/ubuntu_feisty_beryl_ati_radeon when I saved them and restarted, my machine became very unhappy. I have since tried to reconfigure X11/xorg.conf from another tutorial, and now I have ended up with what looks like the terminal screen before I screwed everything up. I'm not sure where to go from here. I was a Windows user for years, but decided that pre-school was over, and time to learn something new. I am very novice when it comes to Linux, so any suggestions or comments pertaining to my predicament would be greatly appreciated. Thanx in advance for your patience.
What's the output of Code: ls -la /etc/X11 ? Normally there should be a backup of your old, working xorg.conf.
