No debain-sys-maint in /etc/mysql/debian.cnf?

Hi, I configured a brand new server with your howto

After all, there is no debian-sys-maint user in mariaDB and in no entry for debian-sys-maint in /etc/mysql/debian.cnf. User-line in debian.cnf is "user = root". Same is on your image "Ubuntu_16_04_perfect_server_apache.ova". Is that right? Is the user debian-sys-maint not needed?
I stumbled upon it, because I got some error messages from logrotate:
