I have setup my crons in ISPCONFIG3 but I never get any email telling me what happened. When you enter crons on a ispconfig system I did not see anyplace to enter the email address so i assumed it just used the default email for the site that the cron was for but I never get any emails telling me what the cron did. Is this the way it works on ispconfig.

ISPConfig does not set a email address for cron jobs.

    Till,

Is it possible to change that? I tried adding my e-mail address to /etc/cron.d/ispc_web3, but it doesn't appear to be working.

    Thanks,

Thats should work normally. Maybe you have to restart cron after you edited that file.

Okay, it's working now, I made a few mistakes.

The thing that's not-so-nice, is that every time you edit the cron via ISPConfig, the e-mail address is removed. Are there plans to add the ability to specify an e-mail address when adding/editing a cron? (shouldn't be too difficult).

    Thanks,

    _da.

Thats not planned. But feel free to make a feature request in the bugtracker, when it gets enough votes, the we will put it on the roadmap.
