    First, thanks for the tutorial.
I have followed the tutorial with exact server configuration.
I`m using fedora core 4 inside vmware, at two physical location, 2 vmware each.
The clustering works only if i set my firewall setting off , this is not good right?

The heartbeat is working, i can ping the virtual address.
But mysql still not working, should i install mysqlserver at 'loadbalancer/cluster management' server? My ethereal show port 3306 is unreachable.

i followed your test to check ldirectord status, i only got ldirectord stale pid message and ldirectord stopped for ldirectord.cf.

    Did i miss something?
    Please share your idea.

    Thanks

Seems to be a problem with your firewall. Does it work if you switch it off?

Hi falko thanks for your reply.
I finally managed to make your tutorial works.
I'm using fedora core 4, and MySql 5.0.26 rpm package.
I have to disable firewall to every host involved.
I found some missing package that should be installed before installing heartbeat packages.

At both loadbalancer i installed mysql-shared-compat library, perl-DBI, and perl-DBD-MySQL modules.

    And then all works.

    Thanks for the tutorial.
