I have set up a multiserver where I have four servers: * ispconfig server * web server (and then of course ftp server) * mail server * database server System is running on a AWS micro Ubuntu 18.04 server. Whey I try and upload to the server (web), I am not able to. FileZilla is not able to use tls for some reason. Ducky is strugling as well. Found a third option and I am there informed that the volume is read only. I do not see any debug in the log-file. What setting have I missed?
How did you set up the system? Did you follow the perfect server guide? Have you done any modifications? Where are you trying to upload to?
Try a different FTP client like winSCP (in FTP mode, not SCP mode). If it works, then you have hit the FileZilla vs. pure-ftpd TLS bug, which is solved in newer pure-ftpd versions, but the one from ubuntu 18.04 might be too old.
