I've created SSL certificates before without problem, however now when I try to create the certificate from within ISPCONFIG3 although it saves the details I've entered, it doesn't appear to actually create the certificate. This is what I do: go to websites tick ssl go to ssl tab enter locallity and organisation details select action 'create certificate' click save. When I visit the site through the new htts url it redirects me to my main site. If I look in ispconfig where I'd expect to see the certificate information it is all blank except for the details that I entered. Where am I going wrong please?
Thanks Hans. I'm not sure my problem is the same but please advice otherwise if you don't agree. Since writing the first post, ispconfig did write the certificate (my lack of patience as usual), however, the browser accepts the https url but still simply keeps redirecting me to my first site that had an ssl.
I assume you mean this file?: although it keeps the url in the address bar, as soon as https is added, it redirects to badbison.com This seems to be typical of all sites that I've tried adding the ssl to. As it happens, badbison.com was the first site that I gave an ssl to.
