I've got an odd question and nothing to do directly with ispconfig -- I just installed ubuntu 14.04 ala perfect server. and I'm trying to run some scrapy spiders.
now I've got python 2.7 installed - but apparently under 2.6 the tidy module was included, but under 2.7 tidy is not. tidy is an html cleaner-upper so you can extract the elements conveniently under program control.
buy my python program dies with 'module tidy not found'.

now I guess I can wipe and reload ubuntu 12 and presumably python 2.6 would have it. but I cannot find out any way of simply installing the python tidy package under 14.04. and I just spent a lot of time setting it up PERRRFECTLY ala tutorial. but I need to get tidy in place so the program runs.

I've googled extensively and have not found any solution -
    any ideas??
