Hi, I am facing a problem probably due to my DNS setting. I have a domain, I want to run the mail server on ispconfig server, and www on a different server (ip). So in my DNS records, I set www dot mydomain dot com and mydomain.com to point to server2 IP. mail dot mydomain dot com point to ispconfig server which also has mail server. And a MX record, with name of mydomain dot com and point to maildot mydomain dot com, priority is 10. I thought this should work, but it didn't. Anyone can help me?
with a dot but I changed domain dot com back to server 2 ip, and waited a while receiving is working. But forwarding is not working. in the setting, I specified to forward email to my two gmail accounts, and separated by comma.
All working now! I sent the forward testing email from the email that will be forwarded to, so ISPConfig won't forward it, tried to send it from a different email, and forward is working! Thanks!
