not recieving mail

i have configured the server and have websites working but cannot recieve email, can anyone help i have setup an acount layla@ stiffmiddlefinger.com but get a system failed to deliver message, please help!

also, if i send mail, i recieve it, but it says that it is from

not
[email protected]

 

Are there any errors within your /var/log/mail.log ?
What's in /etc/postfix/local-host-names ?
If you are using the Maildir format, did you enable Maildir within ISPConfig under Manager > Server > Settings > Email ?

 

Your DNS is set wrong for stiffmiddlefinger.com (nameservers are not giving any info!).

 

m server is down at the moment as i have problem with the line, engineres are sorting it out, however i have set the mail to maildir, but also what about where the email is coming from?

and why can i not recieve mail

 

Edge is correct, try to set your DNS settings in a correct way first!

 

what do i put in to the mx records?
