www.faultrocks.com wont obviously I'm doing something wrong but IDK what.
Admittedly, DNS has never been a talent of mine.
I have another domain (www.jspazi.com) on the same address and configured identically. however faultrocks refuses to work. Any help would be so appreciated.

    Thank you!~

Did you create a dns A-Record for www in the zone faultrocks com which points to your external IP address?

I'am not getting any answer for www.faultrocks.com at all:

    dig www.faultrocks.com

    ; <<>> DiG 9.2.1 <<>> faultrocks.com
    ;; global options: printcmd
;; connection timed out; no servers could be reached

    Hi.

So sorry that my response has been delayed. I do have an A record for fault rocks. it uses the same IP as jspazi.com.

    Look at this:
    ; <<>> DiG 9.3.4 <<>> ns1.faultrocks.com
    ;; global options: printcmd
    ;; Got answer:
;; ->>HEADER<<- opcode: QUERY, status: NOERROR, id: 56207

    ;; QUESTION SECTION:

    ;; AUTHORITY SECTION:
    faultrocks.com. 172792 IN NS ns1.faultrocks.com.
    faultrocks.com. 172792 IN NS ns2.faultrocks.com.

    ;; ADDITIONAL SECTION:
    ns2.faultrocks.com. 172792 IN A 64.251.10.28

I dont get what i did wrong. Im pretty sure I mimicked jspazi.com
    which works great.
    Thanls for your help

    Ok...um.

I'm sorry if I don't understand. ive never heard of a glue record before.
I didn't have to do that with www.jspazi.com the ns1.jspazi.com works just fine.
I just thought that www.faultrocks.com would be the same. Is all this because they share the ipaddress?

I guess your registrar set up the glue record for you.

I see that ns1.faultrocks.com and ns1.jspazi.com as well as ns2.faultrocks.com and ns2.jspazi.com are the same servers. Why don't you just use ns1.jspazi.com and ns2.jspazi.com for the faultrocks.com zone?

    Thanks

    To all that replied.

Oddly I had to restart the bind deamon. Not from the ISPConfig GUI but from the command line. Im not sure why that is...maybe someone can throw some pointers at me for that issue.

Once restarted the domains worked properly.

Its funny, the solutions desperation provides :)

Not sure either, but did you check the logs for records related to this?
