    Hello all ISPConfig 3.0548 users,
As to my single ISPConfig 3.0548 server, it is running very well.

For a new project, I am planning a set up with one central ISPConfg 3.0548 and its control panel in a server, plus multiple discrete remote Apache servers which can be accessible from the central ISPConfig control panel.

    Is it possible?
Hope to hear your valuable opinion.

    Thanks for your reply.
So do I have to install a complete ISPConfig 3.0548 on every discrete remote machine even if it only runs Apache as service?

You have to install ISPConfig on each node, but that's not a complete install. See multiserver tutorial.

    Hi Till,
I have checked the tutorial. If I want to set up 2 more apache server nodes, is it the correct example config on the central ISPconfig host?
    Edit file /etc/hosts:
    127.0.0.1 localhost
    192.168.0.105 web.example1.tld
    192.168.0.106 web.example2.tld

Do I also have to run the ispconfig update script in order to add these 2 nodes to the central Ispconfig control panel?

you have to add the hostnames and IP addresses of the nodes there, so I cant tell you if these are the right ones for you or not, depends on your network.

    No.
