I have a big problem with openldap configuration ( i use SLES11 sp3). I'd never start ldap when i use slaptest all my configuration is ok when i start ldap /etc/init.d/ldap start i had this error in /var/log/message/ Feb 4 14:45:56 x.x.x.x slapd[2056]: unable to open args file "/var/run/slapd.args": 13 (Permission denied) Feb 4 14:45:56 x.x.x.x slapd[2056]: slapd destroy: freeing system resources. Feb 4 14:45:56 x.x.x.x slapd[2056]: slapd stopped. Feb 4 14:45:56 x.x.x.x slapd[2056]: connections_destroy: nothing to destroy. Feb 4 14:45:56 x.x.x.x slapd[2056]: daemon: SLPDereg(ldapi:///) failed with 0, cookie = -3 Please help me !!!
