Hello I have Debian 10 server with Apache and Ispconfig 3 installed on it. I need to add memcache or to migrate to openlitespeed because of sever loads. My CPU is ok at most of time but I have moments in which is overloading. Could you please, help me with install and activate Memcache or if is better to migrate on OpenLiteSpeed? Thank you in advance!
How did you install ISPConfig? The usual Perfect Server Guide instructs to install memcached, so your server should already have memcache.
I have installed it, according Howtoforge guide for Debian and Ispconfig manual. I have used this link https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.ho...buster-apache-bind-dovecot-ispconfig-3-1/amp/ But I don’t have memcache and there is no option into ispconfig to activate it.
What guide is that? Use the ISPConfig guides on the ISPConfig Documentation site: https://www.ispconfig.org/documentation/ There is ISPConfig 3 Tutorial for Debian 10. https://www.howtoforge.com/perfect-server-debian-10-buster-apache-bind-dovecot-ispconfig-3-1/ , which in chapter "10 Install Apache Web Server and PHP" instructs to install memcached.
Thank you ! Now I have it, but Memcache is not showing as service in ispconfig and I don’t know how to activate it
It is active be default, no need to activate it. Just follow the perfect server install guide from start to end to get a fully functional server.
