Hello everyone. As part of an assignment I have to use ISPconfig. I followed to the perfect setup for OpenSuse 10.2 and all went fine until I got the following error during the install: cannot create symlink to :ath:: No permission ERROR: Could not unpack OpenSSL With my very basic knowledge of Linux.. I assume I need to chmod something? If needed I can show more of the error messages but I have to write them down and typ it in Thanks, HoD
I am root already. I assumed it had something to do with Openssl because the bits before worked fine. Oh and it says "Operation not permitted", I copied it wrong I just re-read the errors and it also has files he cannot find (mv: stat "/binaries/aps.tar.gz" no such file or directory) and it all ends with: ERROR: The PHP binary coming with ISPConfig does not work properly on your system! ps: I'm working in CLI only. I don't know how to copy the errors there so if you think that would help I could use some tips on how to copy stuff too heh. HoD
From which dieectory do you try to install ISPConfig? You can use all directories except /root/ispconfig and /home/admispconfig. Also make sure that AppArmor is switched off.
AppArmor is off. And uhm.. Which directory.. I'm not at school now, but I think either /etc/mystuff or directly from the usbstick (if thats possible..) I'll have to check on monday (and I'll make sure I wont try in either of those directories). Oh and a friend told me ISPConfig is easier to install on Ubuntu, is that true? We were "friendly advised" to try OpenSuse but we're allowed to switch to Ubuntu if we really want. HoD
