opensuse installation help

    hi.. I am a new user of linux community...i want to install opensuse 11.2 in my pentium 4 machine...the details of the machine is stated below..

    1. processor: 1.8 gh
    2. 512 mb ram
    3. 15 gb hard disk

    kindly help me about the installation of it...I want to know the specification about the following things...

    details regarding the partition which will be sutible for me.(for eg. what should be the swap amount/hard drive amount for home, root etc)

    I have already gone through it ..but there is no specification about the partition... specially how much should be allotted for swap/home/root etc

    for this I need help .....

    What exactly do you want to do with the system? Is it a desktop or a server?

    In this case I'd make a big /home partition. About 10GB for /, swap should be double the size of your RAM, and the rest for /home.
