Hello again.. Is there a plugin to Ispconfig 3.0.2.1 with order system? With english it would be nice.
Till, Just one question I am testing now WHMCS to see if I will buy it or not. I would prefer to use the ISPC solution. Will the ISPC solution do the same thing as the WHMCS? And do we have to wait a very long time for it? So I can decide if I use WHMCS as a monthly description or buy the thing if development is a another 2 years or so. Oke 2 questions..
I dont know all features which whmcs has, but I can tell you which features the ISPConfig billing system currently has and which will get added until it gets released. Current state: - Create invoices (invoice editor) - Save invoices as PDF - Supports for multiple companys in one installation (company = sender / creator of the invoice) - Invoice item templates - Recurring invoice items (e.g. for websites, domains, support contracts) - Automatic creation of invoices based on the recurring invoice items. - Management of payment terms. I use it already for about two months for our invoicing. Features that need to be added: - Internationalisation of date and currency formats - Automatic billing trough payment gateways (e.g. paypal, worldpay). - Automatic sending of invoices by email - Client view to allow clients to view a list of their invoices within ISPConfig - Automatic demand notes (not sure if that the correct term, in german its "Mahnungen", the letter that you send if someone has not paid in time). - Event based system to add / remove recurring invoce items based on events like website insert, email domain insert or creation of a client with a specific client template applied. I've attached 2 scrrenshots. There is no release date yet. But I hope that I will be able to make a online demo of a first beta version available in a september / october.
Till, Thanks for sharing it whit us It looks great and is just what we need I think. Wish I didn't have to wait that long, but it's okee. Must think what I will do with WHMCS......
WHMCS looks fine, but that ioncube encypted code made me paid for programing of own billing system... wish i knew there will be module in ISPC
How goes the development? glad to help with beta testing! I'm curious about the possibility of adapting and adding other currencies paymet Gateways...thanks for your work!
We made good progress with the development in the last weeks. It still needs some work but I expect that we will have a first beta soon.
Will this module have an export of the billing information for external financial software in any standardized format? PS: Please send a big newsletter when you release it
The first beta version of the ISPConfig billing module is available as online demo now: http://appsdemo.ispconfig.org user: admin password: demo
