OSSEC Rule Making

I have not had much luck in searching the net, but we are running OSSEC on Red Hat Enterprise and are looking for some sort of front end or editor for editing the XML rule files, anything currently out there?

 

There seems to be a web interface for OSSEC: http://www.ossec.net/en/downloads.html

we have the web interface installed, but it doesn't provide a convienient way to edit the XML....
