My company services a number of hosting clients, with more coming on frequently. We are having a problem that after setting up a new clients' e-mail information, our e-mail servers now recognize their domain as local, and fail to deliver messages to them. This is often done far in advance of them transferring the actual domain/assets as part of an automated setup. What I am looking for is a way to either. 1. Force delivery to the mx listed on DNS, regardless of whether there is a virtual domain entry. 2. Forward outgoing messages to an outgoing-only smtp server. We are using postfix. The second option would likely be preferred but I cannot figure out how to set it up so that all the messages would be routed correctly.
